Mountain Blackberry Bourbon Smash
Ingredients:
2oz West Virginia Fruit and Berry Mountain Blackberry Bourbon
2 lime wedges (or 1/2oz fresh lime juice)
6-7 Mint Leaves
2-3 Blackberries
1/2oz simple syrup
Club Soda
1 cup ice
In a shaker, combine mint leaves, lime wedges (or lime juice), and blackberries. Muddle until pulverized. Add ice, bourbon, and simple syrup. Shake vigorously for 30 seconds.
Pour entire contents into a rocks glass (no straining) and top with a splash of club soda (approx 1oz). lightly stir and garnish with mint leaves and a blackberry.
